The Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center seats 431 (333 on the main floor, 33 in the side mezzanines & 65 in the balcony) and is an ideal venue for your theatrical production, staged reading, audition, rehearsal, choral concert, dance recital, film screening, cultural event, private rental, seminar, corporate training session or graduation.
Our stage is a 35′ 11″ (width) x 24′ 3″ (depth) proscenium with adequate wing space and a working minimal-space fly system (motorized). The orchestra pit’s usable space is 32′ (width) x 11′ (depth). Our green room and both a men’s and women’s dressing room are accessible from the stage.
Our approximately 28′ (width) x 21′ (depth) scene shop is available for set construction and storage during your production run. Our shop has a working sink, rolling work, tables, ladders, scaffold, genie lift (must be supervised by staff when in use), paint supplies (upon approval) and scrap lumber. Depending on the extent of your show’s run, you may not have use of the entire shop as it is common for productions to share the space. Inquire with the Theatre Coordinator for details.
Our lobby is approximately 15′ (width) x 48′ (depth) and can be set up in a variety of different ways to best suit your event. With the exception of a few restricted areas, you can set up tables with displays or even to sell t-shirts, CDs, DVDs, etc. Close to the entrance of the lobby, we have a concessions space that available with a refrigerator, freezer and microwave. In the weeks leading up to your event, be sure to submit postcards or flyers to the Theatre Coordinator that can be put in our literature rack.

Staff & Other Services
Our tech staff has been well trained to assist you and operate/program lights or run sound for your event. We are here to serve you and your guests, and work hard to ensure your stay at the Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center is as enjoyable and accommodating as possible.
Cutting Hall requires ticket-selling rentals to utilize our complete box office package, which is included as part of your rental at no additional cost. We are able to accommodate discount offers, complimentary tickets as well as various pricing structures. Our box office concierges are friendly and well-experienced with our ticketing system. During box office hours, concierges are available to assist your guests over the phone and even via email. You may also purchase tickets online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
