Synopsis

The Palatine Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Frederick Lowe, performs a selection of traditional and contemporary works for band on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 3:30 pm at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Wood St., Palatine. Selections include:  The Wind and the Lion, Jerry Goldsmith; Acrostic Song, David Del Tredici/Spede; Lincolnshire Posy, Percy Grainger; Halcyon Hearts, Katahj Copley; At Her Ladyship’s Request, Carter Pann; The Fairest of the Fair, J. P. Sousa; “After Fairest of the Fair” from Symphony on Themes of John Philip Sousa, Ira Hearshen.
