Northwest
suburban residents no longer have to travel downtown to see the latest
limited release independent films, as these rare motion pictures now
have a home at the Palatine Park District's Cutting Hall Performing
Arts Center! Once a month, the Blue Whiskey Cinema (BWC) Series
will present an award-winning independent feature film. For a
complete listing of screening dates, click
here.
Are
you an independent film buff? Take advantage of our 2011-2012
Series Membership pass for only $60.00! As a member, you'll
receive a pass with your name on it as well as entry to all 11
screenings from August 2011 through June 2011 (an $88.00 value).
The BWC aims to bring filmmakers and the audience together by holding
live Q&A's with the filmmakers who may either be present, in
person or via Skype.
Group
memberships for film societies, schools and more are also available by
contacting our Publicity Manager (Ashley France) at ashley@cngmpictures.com.
Following
each screening, audience members are encouraged to gather for drinks
at Emmett's
Tavern and Brewing Company in Palatine. Visit their website
for more information.
